Current Contract

Input accepts both runtime url and request-list startURLs shapes.
Markdown-wrapped URLs are normalized and must contain /zgbs/.
max_results defaults to 20 and must be between 1 and 200.
zip_code is optional; when provided, the scraper updates Amazon's glow location session and reuses those cookies for list, detail, and AOD requests.
collect_child_categories=true is explicitly rejected by the input adapter.
output_schema.json is the source of truth for output fields and types.
Runtime headers and record normalization are maintained by output_contract.py.
Successful products are pushed immediately instead of waiting for the full batch.
Rows without title, asin, or url are not pushed.
Counter logs contain summary counts only, not the full failure list.
Network requests retry up to 3 attempts on transport failures and retryable HTTP statuses.
